JOHN R. BOLTON, FORMER U.S. AMBASSADOR TO THE U.N., WILL SPEAK ON
FOREIGN POLICY CHALLENGES FOR THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION
RE: ISRAEL, IRAN AND THE MIDDLE EAST

John R. Bolton, a distinguished attorney and a riveting speaker, is currently serving as a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. His portfolio includes foreign policy and international organizations.
Before coming to AEI, Amb. Bolton was the United
States permanent representative to the United Nations from August 2005 to
December 2006 and has been a strong critic of the United Nations for much of his
career.
From June 2001 to May 2005, he was the Under Secretary of State for Arms Control
and International Security. He has also been involved with an assortment of
think tanks such as the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA)
and US Commission on International Religious Freedom. Amb. Bolton has spent many
years (from 1981 through 1993) in public service, having served as Assistant
Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs at the Department of
State, Assistant Attorney General, Department of Justice, and General Counsel,
U.S. Agency for International Development.
